Unlock Your Golf Potential

Amped Physiotherapy is thrilled to offer a Golf Program like no other in the Ottawa area. Using the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Screening Tools & Structure, we have developed a program that allows us to assess and improve many facets of your game using a 3-pronged approach.  Our team includes TPI Medical II Certified Physiotherapists, a TPI Fitness II Certified Kinesiologist & Strength Coach, and  a CPGA Certified Golf Professional. This collaboration allows us to not only help you improve your technical golf skills on the course but also improve your strength, power, mobility and reduce any pain associated with Golf.

If you are looking to play golf without pain, increase your distance, and lower your handicap then the Amped Performance Golf Program is here for you!

How does the Amped Performance Golf Program work?

It all starts with you, the golfer. Depending on your goals, this will dictate which professional you will start with first.

If you’re in pain, you start with a TPI Medical II Certified Physiotherapist. They will perform a TPI Medical Assessment that will assess your injury & your golf swing (if relevant to injury or pain) on our Golf Simulator (Winter) or Driving Range at our Hylands Golf Course Location (Spring/Summer/Fall).

Once you are assessed by our Physiotherapist, they will provide you with a detailed assessment summary, outline a treatment plan and refer you to other Golf Professionals, if necessary.

If you’re not in pain but want an assessment to reveal limitations in your golf-specific range of motion or strength, you will start with a TPI Fitness II Certified Kinesiologist. They will perform a detailed TPI Performance Screen that gives you the  answers you are looking for about your golf-specific strength, power & mobility.

Once you are assessed by our Kinesiologist, they will provide you with a detailed assessment summary, outline a treatment plan and refer you to other Golf Professionals, if necessary.

If you’re not sure where to start, you can book a basic TPI Assessment, with our TPI Certified Kinesiologist or with our TPI Certified Physiotherapist. They will complete a standard TPI Screen, providing you with a Fitness Handicap, Assessment Summary & Home Exercise Program.

Finally, If you’re searching to collaborate with a CPGA Certified Golf Professional to help you with your technical skills on the golf course, we would urge you to choose Griff Jones Golf, conveniently located at our facility. https://www.griffjonesgolf.com/

About Titleist Performance Institute (specialty affiliate)

TPI is the world’s leading educational organization dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing.

Since its inception in 2003, TPI has studied thousands of golfers ranging from the top professional Tour players to weekend enthusiasts. An incredible amount of data on players of all shapes, sizes, ages and fitness levels has been gathered during this time. Using this data, TPI discovered how a properly functioning body allows a player to swing a golf club in the most efficient way possible. Additionally, TPI has analyzed how physical limitations in a player’s body can adversely affect the golf swing and potentially lead to injury.

TPI’s mission is to educate golfers and industry professionals on the Body-Swing Connection™ through its one of a kind “TPI Certified” educational program. This program was developed by founders Dr. Greg Rose and Dave Philips along with a 52 member advisory staff of industry leading experts.
