Liam Morassut
Registered Physiotherapist
PT, BSH, MScPT
Liam is a physiotherapist with a strong foundation in sports medicine, rehabilitation, and performance-based care. Whether it is high-performance sport or everyday life, he is committed to helping people recover fully, move confidently, and return to the activities they enjoy
Clinically, Liam takes an active, evidence-informed approach that combines education, manual therapy, taping, and progressive loading. He uses objective measures, including dynamometry and force plates, to track progress and ensure rehabilitation is guided by clear data—not guesswork.
Most importantly, Liam prioritizes clear communication and patient education, ensuring clients understand their injury, their rehab plan, and what each stage is designed to achieve. His goal is to create a collaborative environment where clients feel supported, informed, and confident in driving their own recovery.
Liam completed both his BScH in Kinesiology and MSc in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University. During his training, Liam developed hands-on experience working with competitive athletes through the Queen’s varsity football team and Kingston Grenadiers U16/U18 AAA football programs.
Liam recently completed a Sport Physiotherapy Fellowship at Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic, where he provided both clinic-based care and sideline coverage for nine varsity teams at Western University, including rugby, soccer, basketball, hockey, and the national championship-winning track and field program. During this time, he developed an advanced understanding of sports medicine through close mentorship from sport and orthopaedic physiotherapists, weekly education sessions, and collaboration with sport medicine physicians, orthopaedic surgeons, and researchers.
Off the field, his clinical work has been recognized through the Sport Physiotherapy Canada – Ontario Student Merit Award and the National Orthopedic Division Student Award for his commitment to excellence in high-performance musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
