
Stephanie joins us at Amped Physiotherapy having practiced as a registered physiotherapist in Ottawa since 2010. She graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics from St. Francis Xavier University in 2008 and a Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Western Ontario in 2010.
Stephanie has pursued post-graduate education through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and currently holds Level III Upper Quadrant and Level II Lower Quadrant certificates. Stephanie has taken Level 1 training in NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). She has also taken post-graduate education in anatomical acupuncture, treatment of lumbopelvic conditions, and concussion rehabilitation.
Stephanie has extensive experience in on-field coverage, clinical rehabilitation, and return to sports protocols in football and rugby. She has provided sports physiotherapy coverage for the Ottawa Sooners football club, Skate Canada National Championships, Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend, and Special Olympics Canada Summer Games.
