After graduating from the University of Ottawa with a B.Sc. (H) in Human Kinetics in 2008, Nathan has spent the last 13 years practicing as a Registered Kinesiologist in both the clinical setting and fitness industry. Over that time, he has had extensive experience in assisting people suffering from sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, neuromuscular and cardiac conditions, concussions and acute or chronic physical dysfunction due to everyday wear and tear. He works closely with other healthcare providers (physiotherapists, sports med. Doctors, massage therapists etc.) to ensure his clients get the most comprehensive and collaborative treatment possible, giving them the best opportunity for success in the rehabilitation process.
Nathan is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and Level 2 Fitness Professional with the NSCA and the Titleist Performance Institute respectively. In addition to injury prevention and rehabilitation, he works with athletes of all ages and skill levels to prevent and manage injury, improve their physical functioning, and enhance their performance in sport.
He will assess your movement patterns to identify any dysfunctions or asymmetries that may be causing pain and compromising your functioning. From there, he will prescribe a targeted exercise program to address your specific needs and go through it with you to ensure proper performance. Once you start to build momentum, Nathan will follow up with you to monitor your progress and adapt your program appropriately to keep you on a steady pace towards accomplishing your goals.
