Casey graduated from Queen’s University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Casey went on to complete a Master of Anatomical Science degree at Queen’s University in 2016.

Learning about the intricacies of the human body is what fostered Casey’s strong interest in biomechanics and drew her to the field of physiotherapy. Casey is currently continuing her professional development in orthopaedics by completing the Master of Clinical Science degree in Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy at Western University.

Casey is committed to providing individualized patient focused care where the patient is an active member in their therapy. She uses a combination of exercise, manual therapy, functional dry needling (FDN) and patient education to optimize function. As a long-distance runner herself, Casey has a special interest in running related injuries and understands the importance of rehabilitating athletes safely back to their sport and promoting future injury prevention.

Casey has taken post-graduate courses including Functional Dry Needling, PABC: New Trends in the Prevention of Running Injuries, Certified GLA:D Canada trainer (specializing in hip and knee osteoarthritis), Certified Canadian Red Cross Sports First Responder, and Concussion: prevention, detection, and management.

When not in the clinic, Casey enjoys being active and outdoors. Casey enjoys long distance running, hiking, cycling, snowboarding and yoga.
